Marriage in the Church for civilly married couples:

Getting married in the Church after you've already been civilly married is called "convalidation." It involves many of the same steps as marriage preparation for engaged couples.

All Catholics must be married in the Church to be Catholics in good standing (that is, to receive the Sacraments, such as Holy Communion). It's so important to become united with your spouce in God. Please start the process today by contacting one of the priests at Fort Carson!
